SUSTAIN-CE Virtual Learning Environment has been launched!

The recently-launched VLE provides open and distance education that is accessible to anyone with an internet connection, regardless of their location or schedule. The VLE features interactive modules, videos, quizzes, and case studies that cover topics such as sustainable infrastructure design and circular economy. The environment was created to ensure that the project’s results are sustainable and accessible beyond the life of the project itself.

The SUSTAIN-CE VLE is designed for a wide range of users, including civil engineering students, professionals, policy makers, and interested members of the public. The users can choose to complete the modules at their own pace or follow a structured program.

The launch of the SUSTAIN-CE VLE is a major milestone for the project, which is being implemented in Turkey, Greece, and Portugal with support from industry, industry associations, policy makers, end-users, and academia. The project aims to prepare graduates with the skills and knowledge needed to apply concepts and principles of sustainability to complex civil engineering projects.

The  VLE is now open to the public, and interested users can visit the project website to register and start learning.
